Question: Keyboard for Xbox

Does anyone know if the XBox will accept a USB keyboard, if so will it take any keyboard, can I use a wireless keyboard or do I have to buy an official Xbox one?

I've used my normal computer keyboard for typing messages to people before, plug it in and off you go. If anything, MUCH better than the keypad for the controller.

yeah that is waht I want it for half the time at the moment i am just ignoring the chat because i cant be bothered to type on that stupid on screen keyboard

hehe it can be annoying, but me an a mate can do as fast as keypad (faster even) with that dumb screen.
Only takes practice if you can't be bothered to hassle the keyboard.

I find the main problem with the on screen keyboard is it isnt responsive enough I work with computers 24/7 so my typeing is quite quick

Ah k, I use computers quite a bit, but being able to adapt quickly is a good thing to be able to do. Have fun with your keyboard mate.

Yeah, tis what I did for a long time before getting one.
Don't know why I got one the those 'little dinky' things, just couldn't be bothered moving the keyboard all the time I guess.
