Assassin's Creed, a new kind of game when it came out. Directional buttons to choose 1 of 4 weapons (well,5 really). In this thread, people can talk about their favorite mini-games (informer flags, pickpocket etc.), their favorite weapon, their favorite mission and of course, their favorite assassination mission.
I also encourage people to talk tactics in killing to minimize needed fights, damage to one's self, Altair, and the best route to become anonymous and not be seen ever again.
Also, I am intriuged by the hidden blade mechanism and am welcoming people to post their design for it and how it works. I may award HQD to those who do.
Now for me, my favorite wepon has been going between the Short Blade and Longsword lately, the attacks with Short are quick and precise, the Longblade has some fairly decent speed and power to back it up. The throwing knives, best Anti-Rooftop Archer weapon I've used ingame. My favorite mini-games would be the Informer Assasinations. e.g. 5 targets, hidden blade only. Run in whack them then move quickly before anyone notices.
As for assassination mission, I'd have to go with the one with the Scribes (the name is beyond me at this moment), I have his posistion memorised, so I run ot it, go over the wall to the side, and get him form behind. When I then proceed to climb up to the roof garden close by and be on my merry way.
For plain mission, it'd be the Robert one. You go around the place athering information, attack the wrong guy (or should I say gal) and run off to have a 25 v 1 sword fight infornt of King Richard.
One thing about "The Eagle and the Apple - 1911" achievement, all I have to say about it is, Altair is the eagle, Altair is also latin for "The Flying", his hood resembles a Eagle's beak, a eagle sounds when he does aleap of faith. 1911 is the time in which AC is set in, not much else to say. The Apple? That would be the Piece of Eden that Altair viewed at the end of his adventure, the third Golden Apple.
Now let us all discuss Assassin's Creed.
