Help: Action Replay (for nintendo ds) help needed

My son got a ds and the action replay code cheat thing but it just won'T work getting new codes from the net.
I installed it properly, the program seems to work as I can flick through the codes but as soon as we hook up the ds to it it won't recognise it. We've tried it with xp and vista on several computers, no chance.

Any clues?

We sell a GameStop Action Replay package and from what I know ( I never used a DS) is that action replay itself is like a adapter you plug into the ds and then the game into that to make it work. Using a computer for it seems odd but possible I bet since everyone cracks stuff nowadays

WEll, the action replay comes with a set of cheats for quite a lot of games but you can get more from the net, there are tons there, I looked, lol... so you have to hook the ds up through the action replay, it just won't work for us for whatever reason

Anyway, I'm not too sure, i assume you've checked the internet for information on any possible glitches in the program? And maybe fixes, like patches, etc?

It says that AC isn't compatible with vista..but that was dated quite a while back. so i dunno if things have changed or not.

Yeah, we tried it all. Thanks for the links. And on 2 different xp computers and still no outcome, I am beginning to think it's the ar that is somehow not working correctly
