New threads in Social Groups appear in 'New Posts?'

I don't think that new posts/threads in the social groups forums appear in the 'New Posts' on the main page.

It might be useful if they did to direct more conversation to those groups. Maybe even allow each group to decide whether they want the groups threads to appear on the main page.

I am not in any groups on this forum yet, but that would be a great idea. Even though I can look in my CP on EF to see if there were new posts to an SG, I find I still miss activity there.

Such functionality is not a default feature of the forum software, and require extensive custom programming. It is possible that a third-party modification exists to achieve this, however. I will investigate the possibilities.

As mentioned, social group subscriptions and notifications are visible in a member's User CP.
