would it be useful to have a selling/buying hardware section?

HI!

Simple poll. Would you like to see a section on the forum where we could possibly sell & buy our old hardware, game consoles and such?

and if there is already one, and i did not find it, i apologise...

I voted no. I just don't think it would be used that much; the forum users are from all over the world which would make arranging this more complicated (and expensive). There are plenty of other sites who's primary goal is hardware discussion and trading can occur there. Lets see what the poll results say.

I think the fact that the users come from such different places wouldn't make it easy. Maybe if the forum was really, really big, you could have hardware trade sections for each country.

Fair enough, i guess that organising trades to peeps from same continents would be a bit of an hassle...

But i needs my C64 new floppy drive to enable my beer-drinking, retro-thinking, pizza-eating weekend with like-minded geeks!

Oh, well maybe i will just browse through local stuff selling sites...

I think craigslist would help you out with this and probably get more of a chance of finding or selling what you have.

maybe not a buying/selling hardware section as such. if i was after something more unique or older and willign to pay the postage it might help to ask people do they have it hiding in their attic. but generally "i have a HDD for sale" i dont think would work to well once this forum fills up with users.
