Question: Any plans for cross forum features?

Just curious if there are any plans to allow EF and GHQ to be integrated.

For example, converting EFD to HQD. Or maybe allowing a EF blog to be feed into a GHQ blog so it can be posted on both sites.

At the moment there are no plans to integrate EF and GHQ.

The two sites are pretty much independent of one another, and have vastly different scopes and focus. I cannot foresee any type of integration based on user data (i.e. EFD/HQD), or such.

However, there may be some sharing of content in terms of news or syndication feeds (most likely EF => GHQ, rather than the converse, of course).

I could better judge the possibilities if presented with a more specific idea. Did you have anything in particular in mind?

There are tools available that allow you to update post any update to your Facebook account to your Twitter account. I'm thinking of functionality along this line.

So if you post an update to a social group here at GHQ - you could choose to have that update posted to a social group at EF. Or if you create a blog post on EF you can have it posted to your blog here at GHQ.
