As a promotional effort for the launch of GamersHQ.com, and to thank those of you helping to this community rolling, a special incentive is being offered for member registrations.

The first 500 registered and qualifying members will be upgraded to a

Lifetime Founding Member

account, which features enhanced forum permissions and benefits, as detailed below.



Founding Members also have access to the GamersHQ Live Chatbox

Qualifications for Founding members are as follows:

• 100 Posts
• Registered at least 7 days
• Reputation score of at least 30

The promotion system for Founding Members is fully automated; once a member reaches the critera above, he or she will be promoted within 1 hour.

After 500 members have been promoted to the Founding Member usergroup, this promotion will end.

These enhanced permission memberships never expire, so qualifying members will enjoy Founding Member benefits for years to come

Founding members also have the ability to give HQD Post Awards to other members for exceptionally helpful or interesting posts. The Post Award icon is at the bottom left corner of every post, right next to the reputation scales. The HQD awarded via this method are drawn from the forum cental account, not the Founding Member's HQD balance.

Founding members will also sport a "Founding Member" badge under their avatar in the member info panel to the left of each post (see the following post for a sample).

I have a question, what happens when over 500 people reach all the criteria within 10 days of registration? Will the system then check their posts, or pick the ones who reached 100 posts first or so?

A Founding Member slot is awarded when a member meets all three criteria, not before.

Also, it is very unlikely that all 500 slots will be filled in less than 10 days.

Ok My estimations are normally off, but 500 doesn't seem like to high a number to me. We'll see
