The SIMS 3

I don't wanna brag BUT I received the SIMS 3 this morning. I've been playing it for 6 straight hours. I haven't had breakfast yet

A mate of mine hooked me up with the game. I think it will be released in half a month.
So what can I tell ya about the game. I've got only 2 words in mind - Its awesome !!!!

The Sim making interface looks like its from the Sims 2 but there are some new things added to it.
About the game I just love the trait system. My Sim has the following traits
1. Computer whiz
2. Friendly
3. Party Animal (yup

)
4. Funny guy
5. Lucky
The cool thing about these traits is that they give you unique options when in a dialog or when interacting with smt.
What I found out is that if your neighbor invites you to his house and you go on his laptop you can hack it and steal money from him

He won't like it of course but if he's rich then I suppose he won't miss the money :P
The others are self-explanatory I think
You start out with a maximum of 5 traits. But when you reach your 40ties you can have a middle age crisis and you'd be able to choose them again.
I thought about that and I want to remove the friendly and lucky trait so I can replace them with the Mooch and Kleptomaniac trait

I need some stuff for my house

and most of the friends I got are rich :P
There are still a lot of things for me to discover in the game. It's a good thing I got a few days off

I played it last night

Its alot of fun!

I got my own house, manage to get a job as Super Spy or something (Law Enforcer 10).
I earn good money hacking and painting, and I just got married to a girl hoping to get her money. Unfortunatly she only had about 2k (didnt do my research) as she came from the Single Moms house. So when I married her I brought the whole house over to stay at my house (5 people in total), built an empty shed, told them to go in, created a wall around the exit door and locked them in until they all died.

Since I am a law enforcer, part of my job is to collect intel from other Sims in the neighbourhood. I came over a rich middleaged woman so my next plan is to try to break up her marriage and marry her (and put her in the shed again to get a better tombstone collection

)

Since I am an artist I paint still paintings from the screenshots of the people locked in the shed and hang them on the wall inside the shed for them to watch. I also like taking pictures of the reaper with my mobile phone

Nice man. The furthest I reached was 5th level in Politics but then I got fired cuz I was stealing money from the campaign funds

So can you share in details whats the best way to make some $$$ in the game?

I think pretty much everyone "received" a copy...for their girlfriends.....that don't exist........yeah.

Best way to get money ingame so far has been to get a good paying job and at the same time marry and kill as many women as possible

Sometimes you have to move from your house to get more money

You can also get money from painting, hacking, stargazing ect but its slow. If you keep at it long enough I think you will start earning a good bit.

I did what I have done with every sims game... I threw an all-nighter, and now I'm so bored with the game I won't touch it for months. Rinse and repeat.

lol, samew here...goit my Sims set up in a house and they're hinting at wanting a baby. Guy has a job and is doin g well but she's getting a bit bored...gotta find something for her to do...

Ha I do the same thing, I built a wall around my sims mom 'cause I wanted her to die but she took like four or five days to die of starvation! I don't take it to the extreme to paint pictures of them dying and hang them on the wall, I'll have to try that.

Is anyone else disappointed as greatly as I am that when your elder sims die you don't get money from their life insurance?

I made my sim marry some chick because I confused her for one of the rich sims, she didn't even bring 2k to the family I think it was only 1k plus she's evil and a slob so it totally wasn't even worth marrying her.

Also I kind of hate that there are no blondes in riverview I wanted my sims to be generation of blondes but my blonde sim had no options.
