I agree. you can spend hours playing this online and never gets boring. lots of custom mods and maps also to add even more variety

Indeed, I have spent many hours playing COD4

My favorite map is Killhouse: close quarters, total mayhem in Team Deathmatch with 20+ people. The triple grenade perk is very useful there

COD4 is a great shooter, though I think the helicopters and airstrikes are a bit unbalanced.

yeah killhouse is nice. If you want some giggles play shipment (the small square with some containers) with another 30 players on Free For All mode .

I liked the Singleplayer very much, even if it was very short, one of best singleplayer shooters around

The multiplayer of CoD I generally dislike because most maps are just to small that you can shoot from one end to the other. There I prefer Battlefield 2 with bigger maps.

I have not had a chance to do CoD 4 yet, but have enjoyed the previous CoDs. Looking forward to reading a few reviews to see what others are thinking.

I would just go and get it Zar. I am only about 2 hours into the single player campaign and loving it.

Gonna get the singleplayer stuff done first to get the controls down pat, then will be brave and head into the online thing to get shot at lots

I did have to swap the singleplayer .exe file for another I downloaded, as it kept asking for the DVD to be put in the drive, even though it is in the bloody drive. The Multiplayer .exe does dot have this problem. Oh, and run the Directx on the DVD, it likes that one, even though I had a newer version already installed.

That's why UO is still my favourite as the maps were a better size. CoD2 sucked for just grenading from one base to the other with no one needing to move.

COD series has 1 major disadvantage in MP - camping and fast kills. You know what i`m talking about - it`s all about camping and being "realistic gameplay" but that just isn`t what a good shooter should be like...
