D&D Players?

So, any major D&D players lurking? Since this is the PC Games section, I'll limit myself to mentioning:

The Gold Box Games on Commodore
Baldurs Gate series
Icewind Dale series
NWN stuff

Presently somewhat playing NWN2 SoZ which is alright. Nothing can beat the original Pool of Radiance tho. It was just so awesome to take the books and paper game and play it on the commodore (monochrome screen even) and not lose the feel of the game.

I am in a similar situation to Etopia, played my way right through Baulders Gate 1 & 2 (+ expansions), the Icewind dale series and the NWN series. Loved them, but Baulders Gate II throne of Bahl expansion will always be my fave I think. I didn't really like how they removed the ability to have big teams of warriors in NWN

Also played baldurs gates 1 & 2 , and tried one of the earlier icewind dales, somehow that didnt stick though...

REALLY loved Planescape torment, which i can still encourage peeps to play it, as it hasnt aged one fay since (except for the graphics ofc.)

And one game that i loved also, but was really harcore, as in hard, and more targeted to harcore D&D peeps, The Temple of Elemental Evil

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tem...(computer_game)

One more that i have to mention here, is Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura, which has some similar aspects with Planescape, but more of an steampunkish feel to it, highly recommended also!

Ofc finding these awesome games today could be a bitch...

Yes i am mega geek.. Mostly played pen and paper DnD with Dragonlance, Planescape, and Forgotten Realms campaigns.

Also for computerized versions, played some Baldur's Gate and some of the older ones from early 90's.

Also love to read mostly Dragonlance.

hehe, this thread is like a list of all the geeking i have done over the years

Planescape Torment is a really good game, many an hour burned running through that.

One game i really did enjoy but can't ever remember finishing was Omikron: Nomad Soul, was a little different from the pack when it came out.

Watched my younger brother play for hours on paper and then watched him crunch it all up and throw it away as he didn't like it and started over. Wow, the hours he played.

Nothing like a good ol mudd though
