What are the best driving games for PC?

I LOVE driving games - but never know what to get. Some seem to concentrate on the graphics and lose out on the actual driving experience.

Stuff I have is Need for Speed Underground 1 and 2 - the Colin Mcrae series etc.

The consoles look to have some very nice stuff like GTA etc - what are the equivalents for PC?

Thumbs up

I always liked Sega Rally Championship---not as complicated as NFS--simple, really, but loads of fun!

OK - so apart from the Need for Speed series, what other kickass driving games should I be looking at?

you have to use a steering wheel tho. and you need alot of patience as it is very difficult to master.

I agree, best game there is that really involves driving and not a cheap parody of it (targeting all NFS games that came after porsche - last from the awesome NFS list).

well, the PGR series wasn't bad on the xbox and 360... though i've only played the first 2 and i preferred the 1st as the second seemed almost cartoony to me...
