Has anybody had any experience with Talktalk or Opaltelecom in the UK?
Whenever I play Entropia, I get varying forms of lag, most commonly the "item is busy lag" but another weird one where I lag when I go round a corner, i.e jump into a service center, and if the camera clips the edge of the container as I go in, i'll rubberband through the wall and end up outside again. I can't really describe it all that well 
I don't think it's my computer, as i've tried it on varying systems, once as high as a quad core with SLI graphics, and have used one of the laptops at a friends home and didn't get the problem.
It shouldn't be the network speed though, as on a speedtest, on average I get from 3 to 7mb/sec download, and 500kb - 1.5mb upload, with ping of around 54.
I'm asking for your opinion on the ISP because i've heard mixed reviews about them, and would like to hear what you think |
