Question: Making Money playing Online games

Ok money making update. I've been on holiday for two weeks in september so was only playing eu two weeks of the month but I still managed to make about 70ped fapping and trading so I'm $7 up for the month if I bought out now. I've been playing a small amount of DDO too but I've not found any great legit way to sell out of that one. I'm going to give entropia another month then try something else a bit more.

What are your goals? How much do you intend to earn by playing online games? I don't think there are any games which pay much.

My goal is just to see how much I can make really. I'm only playing the games with the time I would usually spend having fun so I don't look at it as a job. I'm just curious.

There seems to be a few people saying you can make a living from internet games. I'm seeing if its even remotely possible for the average person to get close to that. At worst for me I seem to be making the cost of a subscription game per month rather than spending it and I'm finding the challenge fun. This thread is just so others can see my progress.

those who make money are usually doing "illegal" activities - selling gold, accounts in different games.

Other than that - in EU there is a possible profit.

There are a few games that are now allowing selling of gold and characters but not many. I'm keeping an eye on it but trying entropia to start with.

Yes, you can profit in EU, but it is similar to gambling. MA isn't stupid enough, it all depends on getting lucky on the cost of too many unlucky ones.

I wouldn't really call gettting paid to fap for other people gambling. Trading i suppose might be considered quite close to gambling. You are possibly gambling on the prices but mostly you are just predicting market trends.

I suggest you read 'Play Money". Author started playing online games,as a journalistic endeavor, for purpose of making money . When the concluded his experiment, he was making 3k $/month and that was in subscription game(ultima online think it was). Should be easier in Entropia Universe as real cash transactions are fully endorsed. Sony Exchange for Everquest should also be an option I`ve heard.
