Your Ultimate Game - Best Elements of Your Fav Games

If I could use the best features of my favorite games to create the ultimate game it would be like this:

Classless system and no level caps like in Entropia.

Sci-fi themed like Entropia and Eve.

Large number of instances for quests and missions like Guild Wars.

Strong raid content like EQ2. (Beacon missions in EU are similar but lack the depth)

A hybrid economic system that combines the RCE of Entropia with the open ended capitalism of Eve.

Communication between devs and players like many MMO (EQ2 dev forum is a great model.)

I'd like to see an entire continent that is open PVP like in Conquer Online. This would mean you could kill any person at any time but a bounty builds on you. If you travel to a city NPC guards would arrest you and put you in jail where you would need to work or pay your way out.

I could go on. What pieces of your fav games would you combine to make the ultimate MMO?

I would still like to see an MMO use the FPS flight system of Microsoft's Freelancer game. Im hoping MindArk look at that seriously and use something similar when they open up space in Entropia Universe.

Yeah, that's a good topic. What other space games can be used to guide FPC in their development of space in Entropia?

Freelancer now that was a great game it's a shame it was run by microsoft and not some other game developer as it had so much potential which microsoft wasted, it would be great if MindArk based space in EU on Freelancer.

Yer there were so many other things to Freelancer that MS took out of the final release. They basically lost patience with the project. What annoys me is they never revisited it even though servers were still full many years after it was released.

Fingers crossed the devs at MindArk are Freelancer fans

Not seen the EvE one but what do you folks thing of the SWG flight system, nothing there too complex and if it's space battles you want they do them

I actually think Eve and Entropia are starting from different points but headed to the same place.

Eve started with spaceflight and will be adding ambulation and player owned shops. Entropia started with walking around and player owned structures and is moving towards spaceflight.

EvE, with combat like jumpgate, but the RCE of entropia. Also, being able to land and fight, mine etc on planets in a universe the size of EVE would be awesome. Unfortunately, this would take aaaages to make.

This way, it not only becomes a question of big investments. But, player skill too.

I think the one very important thing I ask of any game is that it makes me think, unless i don't want to in which case i just want some relaxing gameplay. Ok 2 things, and now and then some mindless violence. So really 3 things I guess

Well, according to what i've read, this mod may very well answer a lot of prayers. I've downloaded it with the intention of getting back into Freelancer as an alternative to spending what little time i have in EU.

A few people have told me EVE is better, but i can't see how having to pay a monthly subscription can be better than not paying one. I always enjoyed Freelancer and with what the Discovery mod adds, it quite possibly is even better than it used to be.
