Hi, my name is MrWizard and I'm a game-aholic.

Strangely enough, this addiction stems from my parents depriving me of an NES when I was younger. I was forced to live vicariously through the controllers of the neighborhood children. At the age of 8 or so, my parents bought an Apple IIGS and my prayers were answered. With the advent of hard drives, I welcomed a young Packard Bell into my home, sick and nearly dying of leaving exactly 3.11 windows open. I tried to cure him with Windows 95, but alas it was not to be. Sadly, I then fell in with a Gateway and he helped me through college. Afterwards I was forced to endure with what I could scavenge and my first white box was born in late 1999. From X-Wing, Tie Fighter and Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego all the way through to EU, I've been unable to kick the habit and I have to say, it could've been much worse.
In these hard times, I've been forced to spend less time in EU and more time in other financially challenged games and I'm glad this forum is here to be my support group. Thanks 711 for providing the right stuff to fulfill our every addiction!  |
