What should we be able to do with HQD?

Like the title says: what should we be able to do with HQD?

On EntropiaForum.com the equivalent is EFD and those 'credits' can be used for all sorts of nice features.

So, what do you think should be 'purchasable' with these HQD's?

Lots of ways to spend your HQDs are planned, such as icons to display in the member info panel to the left of each post. Later, options to customize the formatting and styling of usernames and titles will become available.

At some point I will also get some T-Shirts and other apparel made which members will be able to purchase using HQDs.

I also plan to create competitions for which members can purchase entries using HQDs, and which will feature online gift certificate prizes to buy new games, software, etc.

Further on, I have some ideas to allow members to redeem HQDs directly for real-world items such as clothing, games, video cards, etc.

For now, just start collecting those HQDs. I promise there will be some fun ways to spend them in the not distant future.

Gamers HQ swag would be nice. I'd like to get the logo on a nice T-Shirt.

Maybe societies can pool their HQD to rent a private forum. Maybe when a new game comes out members can use their HQD to enter a private chat room to disusses the upcoming game with the developers.

I think a cool thing would be able to buy membership/modules of entropia tracker with HQD or EFD. Perhaps pay for private sub forums in HQD as this site may end up with a lot more active members than EF if it is succesful.

for winning competitions, being top in arcade, stuff like that

i dont seem to be able to transfer hqd from checking to savings, am i missing something? when i can figure it out, does it work like ef and will give intrest etc?

Perhaps you were trying to move less that 100 HQD into savings? I just tested it with a test account, and it worked no problem.

From the bank transfer page:

Minimum savings of 100 HQD required for 1.00% interest every 30 days. Deposits require pending time of 0 days before interest accrues, or a 0% early withdrawal fee applies. Deposits may be moderated. Maximum savings of 50,000 HQD allowed. Transaction fee of 1.00% applies on all transfers.

Note that HQDs do indeed earn interest, at a rate of 1% per month.
