Box or download?

Simple: which one you prefer (in cases both are available)?

I like boxed versions, but downloadables are great when the price is right.

Downloading = faster, no big, dusty box to lie around, easiest!

I do prefer downloads but I hate it when companies such as apple will only let you download once so if you lose your data you are then screwed. They are storing a record of your purchases anyway they may as well let you re download as even the most paranoid backup set up isnt perfect. But overall I much prefer to download my content for the saving it usualy brings and the fact you can get it instantly (or close to) and it means I dont have to venture in to the outside world and see real people

Usually i'd just download for convenience, as its becoming easier and easier now, especially with services like Steam; and downloading is often cheaper too. However, if I can find a boxed version for the same price or less, then i'd be tempted to get the boxed one as i'd actually have the disk as "physical property" as well as the game (can't really express what I mean; if i download it, I get the game. If i buy the box i get the game, but also have the CD too and to me it feels like the purchase was more worthwhile, i'd have something to show for it. Arguably pointless, but at the end of the day, it's down to personal preference. )

I have a tendency of thinking "ooooH I wanna play THAT game" in the middle of the night, so downloads suits me fine

My collectors heart prefers boxes.. And for some reason the downloads are always more expensive.

I'd have preferred tick boxes cos I like the downloading for convenience but would like to have a hard copy sent too.
