Question: Favourite Age of Empires?

So what is your favourite Age of Empires?

I have played 1 and 2, and tried demos of the expansion for the 2nd, and a demo for the 3rd.

I have to say that even though I like the units in the 1st game more, the 2nd game is my favourite

How about you?

Me, hmm... probably I actually. Played I, never II, but own III & Xpack.
Love some of the units from III and the home city concept. Loved the general gameplay and MASSVIE variety of civs in I.
So Overall, Age of Empires I was the best.

loved them all, inclding AOM. Loved the history behind them, but AOE3 was prob my fave for game play

The 3rd for sure. Yep, I understand that many people have a nostalgia for "original" versions, but remakes aren't necessarily a bad thing .

aw but I dont like the 3rd... I tried it and it was boring it was too little like the previous ones
