Consoles vs Pc

I think, now, the consoles are more good. You can have more fun when you play on a console. Many companies start to make more games for consoles. The pc's remain an alternative to the gaming world. But in future, I think consoles will be the best. What do you think?

Computers and console will just keep getting better and better, but the console will lack all the buttons and hotkeys a computer has. Also a computer can be upgraded which will last for a few more years where as the console will have to be replaced by the next gen of it.

A console will cost $500-$1000 when it first comes out, with that you can upgrade, or in some cases, build, a computer better for the same amount of money. A computer can also play games without the need for a disc, Dawn of War for example, install via CD then pass on the CD never needing it again.

Consoles are also limited to the amount of information it can hold, e.g.20gb Xbox360, 50gb Xbox360 etc., but a computers are already going into the Terrabytes of storage with multiple hard drives.

All in all, I think the Computer will always outdo the console as the console controllers are primitive in comparison to the keyboard and the specs of a computer can and will be, vastly superior to the console.

There are certain things each platform is better at. IMO sports games are always better on the console because of multiplayer and default controllers. Sometimes it is a hassle to use peripherals on the PC.

Yes consoles have their place, they have come a long way from the original Atari and Colecovision consoles. In my opinion however they are grossly limited in their ability to keep up with the computer as a gaming rig.

Casual gamers buy consoles, real gamers will have a rig (and quite possibly a console as well). The simple fact is computers are heaps more versatile in their ability to do what you want them to. After all if you have just bought the new release of Need for Speed and want to sit down with it for the next few hours in bleary eyed bliss smashing into cops and wrecking beautiful cars who isn't going to plug in their Xbox controller (or similar gamepad) to do so? But plug in say the latest FPS into a console and unless you are extremely accustomed to that control pad or they have turned down the sensitivity on it you are gonna be practicing a long time to get headshots my friend.
