Imo it's the same as asking at what age should you stop playing cardgames.

Absolutely no reason to stop gaming ever because of your age. I've heard tales of people in their 60's and 70's blasting away on computers in MMO's and various games. I can't at this point see me stopping gaming just because I hit a certain age. The reaction pointed out in the original post says more to me about the person making it than the gamer. I understand that some people just don't get gaming ( have worked with many who don't and had the piss taken cos I do) but equally I don't get people who devote endless hours making model trainsets or lollypop stick buildings.
I also saw a story once about a 70 year old who decided that clubbing was still the thing to keep her going on a weekend. Now i say live and let live and all that but honestly the hot pants and crop top were a bit of a mistake in that case

People just have a stigma about computer gaming, they think it's for kids. But before computers, people still played games. I played cribbage and chess with my gramps up to the day he died. He was a Gamer (without a computer)

There shouldn't be an upper age-limit. I will be buried with my gaming stuff.
