FYI: Kwari resurrected?

Some of you knew of this Real Cash shooter- money for kills unreal like MMO.

Idea was most interesting but they ran into some financial difficulties. Now their website says will go back online

This game was doomed to be shut down if I recall correctly, the in-game currency system was such a mess.

How did the "real cash" work/was intended to work?

Whole concept of cash/kill was pretty interesting. Basically RCE PvP only.
Players had to deposit real cash to buy ammo after which win cash or lose according to one`s skill. All the earnings were withdrawable. Basically Entropia Universe in a way but cut down to its PvP component only.

I played a WoW Private Server like that. You got 1g for a kill, 20silver for assist and you used that money to upgrade.

Sounds fun though.

Does anyone have any information about this game? The website has been up for several months without any updates (since mid January), and most links are broken or unchanged from the old 2007 kwari site. How long has the new kwari been in development for, and when in spring does beta start? They should at least create message boards where people can ask questions, as there is no way to contact them currently.
