What used to be your favourite PC game before you discoverd online gaming?

I am just curious what brought ppl in to online gaming,
and what kind of PC games you like before discovering online gaming.

Is there a link between the 2?

I always liked Dune, warcraft, Myst and a lot more of those strategy games.
I like doing quests and win battle's.
Actually, i never stopped playing Dune2000 i finished it already so many times, but it's just an addiciting PC game.

Now when i entered EU in 2006 there was a lot to explore, alot to dicover and a lot of skillquesting going on for me....Now a couple of yrs later we will have another exploring phase..when CE2 gets implemented.

Thats gonna be so awesome...exploring new worlds, new animal, a lot of new players...Game on!!!!

There were too many to name .
I preferred RPG/strategy though: Myst, the Baldurs/NWN series were probably the standouts.

What got me into online gaming was Sacred, started with single-player, decided to try a bit of multiplayer, and then found my way to Guild Wars and EU

I'm still addicted to Minesweeper . Has anyone else who has vista noticed that the advanced level has quite a few "luck based" situations, where it can't be deduced on the position of the mine, and you have to take a leap of faith on your next move?

I think the worst game thats not on the internet is Purble Place, a new addition to vista. It really did make me wanna

oow yes civilazation, I played that too, i loved the fact that it worked withdifferent era's to play in......

But i also like the FPS games Wolf3D, but i remember getting ym 1st comeputer in 1993 (i was 12 yrs old) and the 1st game i ever played was CD-man, it worked the same as pac-man but the graphics of CD-man were so much better.....and it was always very frustrating if you couldnt get all the dots in time.

Then ofc i played duke nukem (haven't we all), Biomen and my favourite all time high for PC games has to be KEEN (i played them all) I even had a old computer for a long time (since 2 yrsback) so i could still play those games.
