Star Wars Empire at War is amazing, but you do need to be a fan of RTS games I suppose.

No one outstanding favourite, but if we want to step back in time it all began for me in the seventies with the earliest game packs for the home TV that included "Pong" and that one where you shoot with a plastic gun at a little square that floats around the screen.

Graduated to the Atari which had some cool stuff like Asteroids, Space invaders etc.
Then came Nintendo, Sega and Playstation games.

Got into PC games when they started looking anywhere near as good as consoles and that really didn't happen until the late nineties imo.

First addiction was with Age of Empires and then the Wing Commander flight sim series.
Had a break from gaming when I was getting sent overseas on and off for 2 years then discovered MMO games in 2004 and actually created an account on PE, had a look around, got told to "piss off noob" once so I logged out and didnt come back for 2 more years
I wish I had stuck with it now.

Played the Max Payne series every which way (still love it) also a few other shooters and lamo strategy games.

I guess Max Payne 2 is still my all time fave PC game though.

In 06 I re-discovered EU and thats all I have really played and had time to spare for since.

But i guess thats what i liek about our community..its mainly very adult.

Age of empire is also a very nice game to play....
you could al put that in the quest discovery games..like warcraft and dune.
exploiting land and see what comes up on your radar.

I can't say I ever had a specific favorite that I played again and again, once I beat the game once or twice I was done with it and moved on to the next.

One of the most enjoyable games was Zork. I spent a lot of sleepless nights trying to get all the way through that one.
