hello all,
i'd like to list game-genres and their brief definition. pls help to complete the list and correct my mistakes

the list, if complete, could be used as a guide to the correct sub-forums etc.
RPG:
roleplaying game: games that focuses on development of the game-character (skills, gear, etc.). whenever you can level up, spend skill-points, alter your stats, etc., you're playing a
RPG
Platformers / Jump'n'Run:
games where you need to reach the end of a level by jumping and running mainly, avoid traps and defend/dodge enemy attacks.
Puzzle:
games where you have to use and combine resources / items / character-abilities to solve puzzles and reach the end of the level. puzzle-elements can be found in a wide range of games.
Adventure:
games where you have to go through a storyline with a character. often composed from many puzzles, can contain action-elements though.
Vehicle-Simulations:
games that try to resemble the steering of all kind of vehicles in their natural environment, usually as real as possible.
Action:
games that require good steering and reaction skills
FPS:
first person shooter: games that use the first-person-perspective of the character to aim and fire carried weapons at enemies/targets
RTS:
real time strategy: command units, harvest resources, build structures (according to a building-tree) in real time to dominate human or AI-opponents
Turn based strategy:
same as above, but the opponents do their actions alternating, in turns, not realtime
Construction / Managment:
build up environments / companies / infrastructure and manage them to gain size, power, resources. often, but not always, in realtime
Social Games:
games with the purpose of offering a virtual space for communication between (human) players.
