So, I have been playing Diablo II alot in my life...

Soon, Diablo III is coming out...


Who will play it except me, and what type of class do you think you will play? I will try them all out before I decide I think heheh

"Soon" is a huge overstatement. I think we are 5-6months away at least because Blizzard has never kept a deadline and is always 8-18months late.

Recent examples the last 3 years are WoW: Burning Crusade, WoW: Lich king, Starcraft 2...

My bet is that Diablo 3 doesnt come this year

In that case you might say that Lich King was announced like spring 2007 or even earlier but didnt arrive until winter 2008 and still call it "soon" at the time

Actually, Blizzard is the only company that always keep their deadlines, as they never set a release date until they are absolutely sure they are gonna meet it.

There is a lot of interest around D3. I have a friend who still plays D2 for hours each day.

Blizzard has a lot on their plate right now. They are working on a new Starcraft title and updating WoW all at the same time.

For me I never really liked the gameplay elements of D2. If D3 is significantly different I might try to play it.

1) I recently had a 2 week break from EU, then I played D2 aabout 2-3 hours a day heh

2) D3 drew some critizism from the D2 players for being altered to looking too much like WoW (shiny, colorful armors, etc)... Also, they added a new physics engine

Really is that so. Lol then its funny they keep on sending my workplace wrong releasedates all the time. Blizzard and dates has never matched. They are the gamingworlds Mindark and Cryengine
