Question: Stargate Game

Does anyone know of any game for the PC based around the Stargate series? I found this but it looks like the plug was pulled. There was also mention of a new MMORPG called Stargate:Worlds to be released sometime this year but couldn't find much more.

never heard of one, and usually those games made out of film series tend to be a little crappy...

now someone points me to an example proving me wrong...

There si a stargate Worlds game in testing currently. I don't know when its meant to eb coming out but its been in testing longer than hoped already I think due to interesting financial situations but hopefully it will be quite good. I don't know of any others but I think stargate worlds is the offical one for now.

I think i registered for the beta over a yeart ago. still not heard anything. Sometimes thats they way it goes with beta's though.

Stargate worlds is in closed beta atm for quite some time. No idea when and if open beta will come.

The MMO doesn't actually look that great, at least from the screenshots and videos that I've seen.

As far as they have reveled it doesn`t look that great from gameplay either... Basicly it will have those two groups (humans + asgards + tokra or whatever they were called and the bad guys) fighting each other (both epic battles and small missions), players can join the fight do missions etc. Pure PVE and as said by developers - no PVP at launch so... Sounds a bit boring to me...
