Problems with GHQ in IE

Ok, just 10minutes ago I had to end the process for IE because I was getting a new tab opened every second of one thread. Even after closing the window a new one opened and it started again.

The only way to stop this is turning off/restarting my computer of ending the process. If anyone has any ideas of why this happens, I'd be greatful to know.

Btw, it doesn't happen with just a certian thread, it happened to the 'My Brute..' and last time it happened it was 'German Gov to ban P-Bing'.
All help welcomed.

IE is the big problem itself . Do yourself a favor, switch to firefox.
Heck, switch to anything, even opera wouldn't be that bad .

Gotta agree with Sva on this one.

Do yourself and leave IE for good, say good night good bye and sayonara. Remember to never look back, you wont be losing anything important.

Firefox FTW!

But its a really weirdo problem o.o
No idea what could be causing this. Did you tried with other browser to see if it's IE only?

I highly doubt this is a problem caused by GamerHQ. There is no code on any GHQ web pages that will automatically open tabs in your browser.

I use IE full time, and never have such problems. Also, no other members have complained of this.

These types of issues come up now and then (check the About EntropiaForum section on EF, which runs the same software as GamersHQ), and in every case, it was a client-side problem.

Chances are, you have some kind of spyware or malware that has infected your IE installation.

It most likely is a problem on my side, thanks, but I somehow doubt it, the only way I've gotten a virus or anything is from human error once before. I have a few programs protecting my beloved computer infact, but I shall try this, thank you.

By the way, was a week or two between the IE stuff ups.
