Home Brew Gameboy games?

Anyone here ever adventure in to the realm of making your own cart for programming your own game boy games?

i know there is a lot of ways to go about this. I still have to build a flash programmer for mine.

I've only looked into music production on the gb/gba some time ago, but a bit of a hassle to actually go and make a sequencer out of it . Reminds me a lot of the modtracker times.

yeah, pretty similar to trackers.. you should check out 'nanoloop' for gameboy! it's the most basic stepsequencer that you can imagine, and it controls the synth-chip in the GB. killer sound, very original!!

the GBA version disapoints me - it's obvious it hasn't got a built-in synth.

(I'm a sound-engineer, and mixed several concerts that made use of either nanoloop for GB, or nanoloop for GBA, and the GB-version is just soooo much more powerful than the GBA, from a sonic point of view, not featurewise, ofc..)

sry for the offtopic

I've never done it myself, seeing as how I don't have the right stuff to do it... But I do have a "236 games in 1" From Hong Kong.
