News: Apple Snags Former Xbox Exec

nandemoari sends along word that Apple has picked up Richard Teversham, a senior Executive from Microsoft's European Xbox operations, ending his 15 years of service to Redmond. Some press accounts assume that Teversham's role may lie in beefing up the games scene on the iPhone and iPod Touch. Forbes goes farther, opining that Apple "appears to be preparing an all-out assault on the handheld gaming market." Other reporting associates the hire with Apple's recent buildout of chip-design expertise.

I have always thought Apple would do well with an entry into the console market. I'm fed up with Micro$ofts shotty 360 hardware. Apple wouldn't settle for anything but perfection.

Form Microsoft to Apple, will the profits go up, or will there be a fail? Only time can tell.

Rumor from the grape vine.. err apple tree is that apple might go back into the game console sector again. Little that people know is that apple did make a uber game console in the mid 90s

Just one thing... FORMER Xbox Exec, is this meaning he used to be apart of the Xbox Area but left/was removed?
