What's your favorite Card Game?

I don't play card much anymore, when I was younger one of our family favorites was one called crap on your neighbor. I'm not sure if it had any other name.

A month ago is the first time in years I played any cards, a group of us played spades. Once we remembered the rules I had a lot of fun with it. (of course the beer we were drinking helped)

I think some people call it Lier but anyway here are the rules:

the general idea is to lie to decieve the other players so they get your cards and to catch them on their lies so they can´t get rid of their cards.

the first player with 0 cards wins

Well my one of my favourites would a game called "zole" but since it is national card game (played only in Latvia) i can`t find any rules in english atm.


Texas holdem is cool, but my all time favourite has been Magic the Gathering.

Collector card games I quite enjoyed Yu-Gi-Oh but have only ever played the virtual ones.

Traditional card games I'd go with Bullshit too or Gin Rummy and individual card games, I forget the name but there's one where you arrange the cards in a clock fashion and try to get all the cards around the clock in order. It's a great game for kids.

For a while now I only really play Texas hold em poker but I do enjoy 3 card brag and shit head although its been so long i cant even remember how to play the latter
