Board games comeback!

Boardgames are making a real comeback on the Wii and they're awesome.
Just got Trivial Pursuit for it last week and it's a hit, great fun for all the family young or old.
They're bringing a whole load of others too, monopoly, yahtzee and many more!

Good times,

Jamhot

Yes. i am a trivial pursuit fan, and more particularly, the 80´s genius edition, which has most of its questions from 70´s

Ofc this is just normal boardgame, on a normal board :duh:

Recently bought the newer edition aswell, and found out that i dont know anything "trivial" about world today...

Settlers of Catan i have heard alot good things about it, never played it though...

Since my real board game friends have moved the games I have are gathering dust, but with the wii I might be able to play them again :-)

I was thinking of getting tp for the wii too, but I guess I will wait a bit to see what others are coming, agree on the settlers of catan, that one is my absolute fav. :-)

If you're playing it on the Wii is it a board game?

Where's the board?

To be honest, I think board games, no matter what should be created for any console or pc. It's just not the same fun as playing on a board and touching the figures, dices or whatever. On that aspect I think that technology slowly ruins society.

No surprise to me. I only have five Wii games myself where I have my Wii two years now I think. And no of these activity, family, fitness Nunchaku games. The biggest shame is Wii Sports. If you want to do sports, go and make some sports, sitting in your living room waving around with a controller isn't any sport !

as far as i have seen Wii is good for making a fool of yourself (dunnit ) after a few beers by dancing like everyones dad (or yourself) and kidding yourself that it really does help you to "keep fit"

it is horrible when people video you doing the step=dancing though, not recommended
