OOOOOO Space Invaders, Asteroids, Sprint, Defender, Choplifter, Missile Command, Battlezone, original Star Wars, Gauntlet, Space Harrier, Hard Drivin', Chase HQ, Salamander, Silent Scope, Time Crisis, House of the Dead...... oh and playing Primal Rage on a 10-foot screen at a Las Vegas Expo at the Luxor was pretty cool

Definitely Asteroids and Space Invaders, but there was one I think it was called Battlezone? It was a green on black vector graphics wire frame 3D tank game.

Or am I inventing false memories again?

Nope you have it right, played using 2 joysticks to drive the 2 tracks to steer.
