Anyone playing Fallout 3?

Was just curious to know what other folks' impressions are. I've been through the game once and am now on my second run-through as I wanted to discover all the main and sub quests as welll as open up the whole map.

There are several other "mods" out there as well (Anchorage, the Lost Caverns, Arena House with item sorter) that I'm running as well.

Impressions?

Yea I've played it. And I love it with all my heart

So much to do, so much to explore. I havent tried out any mods yet, but I really should! Is there any you would recommend?

Skam, the Anchorage mod was lots of fun. You end up battling the Chinese in Alaska and, this is s-o-o-o cool, you end up getting the very best armour in the game: the winterized T51b power armour (+45 Rad res) and it doesent decay! Great protection, too.

I got it and the other mods from a torrent site. If you want it, I'll find the link for you and if you don't use torrents, I'll see if I can ul it to rapidshare.

Have played it through and spent quite a while just exploring everything, It truly is quite an intriguing game

Than start up the launcher (or edit the ini file for mods) and check the box next to Anchorage (or something similiar).

Play the game! Now you get a random radio signal (will be totally obvious when it happens) which starts the quest.

Getting the mod to start can be a problem for some. I use Fallout Mod Manager and it works fine for me

The Guide (in pdf format) is especially good for describing the various quests and sub-quests and where all the "special" objects are located.
